Senior Network Architect

Working with an innovative company creating a cutting-edge, scalable, and modular network designed to exceed the latest demands for bandwidth and capabilities.
Looking for a Senior Network Architect who is passionate about shaping the future of networking, to test, monitor and be at the forefront of architecture, working in a dynamic, self-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Define strategic network architecture and solutions, ensuring seamless integration, service delivery, and resilient operation aligned with our company's policy guidelines.
- Design and conduct comprehensive testing of network equipment and software from customer premises to core, ensuring compliance with our network standards.
- Provide detailed and standardized documentation for all testing and approved designs to be shared with stakeholders across the organization.
- Monitor the network to assess utilization trends and identify potential issues, and develop project packages with cost-effective solutions for approval submission.
- Offer expert network consulting to various stakeholder organizations, including Network Operations, troubleshooting and providing resolution advice for complex customer network requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in Carrier/Service Provider environment
- Deep knowledge of Layer 2/3 packet networking, including MPLS, Segment Routing, TI-LFA, and more
- Proven track record in taking network concepts from design to implementation with thorough test/documentation procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 switching and routing protocols, MPLS, BGP, TCP/IP, Access Methodologies, Telemetry, QoS, and security protocols and design.
- Familiarity with Layer 1 technologies such as WDM, TDM, DSL, PON.
- Proficiency in configuring switch and router configurations for major vendors like Cisco, Nokia, Ciena.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, NETCONF/YANG.
- Linux server administration experience.
- Network automation and service orchestration expertise.
- Certifications such as MEF, CCIE, CCNP, JNCIP, JNCIE, NRS II, NSRA
