Working with an Investment management firm specializing in risk management, activity, trading and quantitative finance.
They are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their exceptionally talented team to support their network platform and low latency environments, continuously optimizing their trading strategy and infrastructure.
Experience Needed
- Must have experience working within a Hedge Fund/Investment Management/Trading Environment
- Deep understanding of low latency/multicast
- Deep understanding of network fundamentals and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, multicast, etc.)
- Generalist experience designing and operating datacentres, firewalls, servers, cloud etc.
- Understanding of container orchestration, Kubernetes, CI/CD
- Ideally, experience with Layer 1 networks and DWDM, automation frameworks, and cloud technologies
