Working with an Investment management firm specializing in risk management, activity, trading and quantitative finance.
They are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their exceptionally talented team to support their network platform and low latency environments, continuously optimizing their trading strategy and infrastructure.
Experience Needed
Must have experience working within a Hedge Fund/Investment Management/Trading Environment
Deep understanding of low latency/multicast
Deep understanding of network fundamentals and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, multicast, etc.)
Generalist experience designing and operating datacentres, firewalls, servers, cloud etc.
Understanding of container orchestration, Kubernetes, CI/CD
Ideally, experience with Layer 1 networks and DWDM, automation frameworks, and cloud technologies
