Weekend: Nights (7pm - 7:30am) (Friday - Sunday)
Weekdays: Day Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) (Monday - Friday)
Work Schedule: Remote but must be able to go on site for emergencies
JOB SUMMARY
The role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Firm’s 24x7x365 production infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, availability, and performance of all critical services. As a key member of the infrastructure team, this position takes ownership of the production environment, including WAN, LAN, system administration, installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage and monitor system health, performance, and availability.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
Follow SOPs for operational and maintenance tasks.
Document incidents and resolutions in the Firm’s ticketing system.
Escalate critical issues and coordinate timely resolutions.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement of systems and processes
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Hands-on experience with Windows Services, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft applications.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switching, routing, and firewalls.
Proficiency with VMware, Windows, and Linux in virtualized environments.
Experience in network monitoring, event detection, and incident response.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Flexible to meet operational and business needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; military experience accepted.
Minimum five (5) years of related IT infrastructure experience.
