Business Development Manager

We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth across complex IT infrastructure and managed services opportunities within Critical National Infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing and public sector environments.

This is a strategic new business role focused on high-value, multi-year opportunities with 7 figure deal sizes and sales cycles running 12 – 18 months. You’ll lead complex pursuits from qualification through to closure, working closely with technical, bid and leadership teams to shape winning solutions and remove barriers to successful deal outcomes.

The role:

Drive acquisition of new customers across infrastructure and managed services opportunities
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned to annual revenue targets
Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across enterprise accounts
Lead complex sales pursuits and create clear win strategies
Coordinate bid, technical and delivery teams throughout the sales cycle
Manage forecasting, opportunity tracking and pipeline activity through CRM
Identify true customer drivers and shape solutions accordingly


What we’re looking for:

Proven success selling infrastructure and managed services solutions
Strong track record delivering complex, multi-year deals
Experience within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments highly desirable
Cyber security experience beneficial
Background selling into utilities, manufacturing, public sector or blue-light environments advantageous
Strong commercial, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Consistent history of achieving sales targets


What’s on offer:

Salary up to £85,000
Double OTE
Remote working with travel to client meetings.
