One of London's leading MSPs are looking for a SOC Analyst who is dedicated to protecting their clients from evolving cyber threats. Your role will involve monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' digital environments.

What you will be doing...

Monitor security alerts and incidents, triage and investigate security events, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
Analyze and interpret security logs and data from various sources to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with the incident response team to contain and mitigate security incidents.
Maintain and improve security monitoring and detection systems.
Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends and contribute to threat intelligence analysis.
Produce reports and documentation related to security incidents and investigations.
Participate in on-call rotation as necessary to provide 24/7 security coverage.

What you will need...

Proven experience in a SOC or security-related role.
Knowledge of security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus.
Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, CIS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA) is a plus.
Scripting or programming skills (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.
