What you will be doing…
Design, implement, and manage network and security infrastructure, with a specific focus on firewall configuration and administration.
Develop and enforce firewall policies, rulesets, and access controls to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of data and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure network architectures and solutions.
Perform network troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis related to firewall-related issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in firewall technologies, threat landscape, and security frameworks.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and other stakeholders.
Assist in the development and execution of network and security-related projects.
What you will need…
Extensive experience as a Network and Security Engineer, minimum 2 years’ experience
In-depth knowledge of various firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Check Point) and firewall technologies (e.g., stateful inspection, VPN, IPS/IDS).
Solid understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security principles.
Familiarity with security compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
