As a Network and Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our client's IT security practices, managing various security frameworks, and implementing cutting-edge security solutions tailored specifically for the financial services industry.

What you will be doing...
Perform regular analysis of emerging threats and report findings to the ICT Security Manager.
Monitor computer networks/systems for security issues using various tools and methodologies.
Develop company-wide best practices for physical and digital information security.
Conduct Business Impact and Threat risk analysis for new projects and perform security testing/assurance on completed projects.
Manage identified vulnerabilities to ensure a high-security standard across all business areas.
Participate in updating, maintaining, and testing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity processes.
Develop and report on key risk indicators using information from monitoring systems and sensors.
Occasionally travel to various business sites (including European sites) to conduct security audits and testing.
What you will need...
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Security within a multi-site, multi-networked environment of more than 200 PCs.
Proficient in Security frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS, NIST.
Extensive experience with New Generation Firewalls (preferably SonicWall), VPN, WAF, proxies, web-proxy, SIEM, antivirus, IPS.
Strong knowledge of PowerShell and at least one development language (Perl, C, C++, Python, Rust, C#, Java, etc.).
Familiarity with IT security tools, IP/TCP stack, SSL, SSH, encryption, hashing, and Least Privilege Access Control methodologies (RBAC, etc.).
Proven experience in patch management and its impact on business operations.
Demonstrated experience providing security input during project delivery, including impact analysis, for at least two significant IT projects.
