Head of Sales – Central Government

As the Head of Sales - Central Government, you will be responsible for leading our client sales efforts within the central government sector. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, foster strong client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of our solutions to government agencies.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the adoption of innovative technologies and services within the central government. The role is 100% remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets within the central government sector.
• Identify and prioritize key government agencies and decision-makers to target business development efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, understanding their needs and challenges to effectively position our solutions.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to drive individual and collective success.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and government policies to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to senior management to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, particularly within the central government sector.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior government officials and key stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.
• Experience managing and motivating a sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
