Lead SOC Analyst

One of my MSP clients has reached out to me as they are looking for a SOC Analyst to join their team to complete a project with one of their partners in the financial sector. They are looking for individuals with years of experience using IAM and SIEM to be part of this project where you will get to work on some of the best technology in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Receipt and categorization of initial event, incident and requests from customers
- Provide initial triage and trigger escalation/assignment as appropriate
- Investigation of event alerts and liaising with the customer to confirm closure
- Lead your team of SOC Analysts to complete tasks efficiently to a high standard
Essential Experience
- Understanding of Information Security principles.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to install security software and applications.
- Previous experience in a SOC or security team
- Experience with a Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) toolset. (e.g. Azure Sentinel)
This is a fully remote role with a 6-12 month contract.
