Project Co-Ordinator

Purpose of the role:
To provide an effective administrative project support service to the Projects team to enable them to develop and deliver their projects and programmes.
Key responsibilities:
• Support the Project Managers, Programme Managers, and Practice Manager in the planning and preparation of projects by generating and monitoring pre-project scoping documentation as needed.
• Assist the Project Managers/Programme Manager/Practice Manager in the daily administrative tasks of project management, including but not limited to maintaining project control documentation and coordinating logistics.
• Participate in project meetings as necessary and accurately compile minutes from these meetings, ensuring timely distribution to relevant parties.
• Manage and maintain the Projects library of document and process templates.
• Regularly and accurately handle the storage and retrieval of files and information, ensuring; correct naming, proper placement on the corporate shared drive, and timely updates or relocation as needed.
• Ensure that all project information is stored accurately in a manner that will allow other users to access information easily.
• Coordinate information requests and inquiries related to Project Data, responding appropriately.
• Act as a backup for the Resource Manager during absences, performing day-to-day resource management tasks and handling monthly billing.

Essential:
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• Resource Management and Project Support Office document management
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially Word, Excel and Power point.
• Highly consistent and accurate method of working.
• Systematic and orderly planning with close attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers at all levels; good team player; highly motivated and adaptable self-starter; good relationship builder, ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and demonstrate a tendency to achieve results.
• Full driving licence and a willingness to travel and overnight in the UK and abroad where necessary.

Desirable:
• Prince 2 Foundation or similar
• Project management experience in the network industry.
• Mind Genius and MS Power Bi
• A strong passion for project management. ‘customer is king’ work ethic.
