We are seeking an extremely talented and motivated Network Architect for a leading technological company. Within this fantastic opportunity, you will assist in leading architecture and operations of global communication systems including LANs, WANs and voice networks. You will have a say in the future direction of the network.
You ideally should be personable, articulate, be able to present ideas confidently, work well within a team and have an incredible level of analytical & creative problem solving.
Essential responsibilities:
• You will create conceptual, logical and physical network architectures, documents, analysis, plans and assessments.
• Assist in leading teams to analyse, design, troubleshoot and implement.
• You will need to be able to communicate efficiently both with other teams and the client.
• Have a passion for troubleshooting the most complex network and hardware problems.
• Have a want to get stuck in researching and analysing all issues faced and evaluate these intangibles.
Requirements:
• 9+ years in datacentre networks
• CCNP minimum (or alternative vendor)
• Incredible expert-level understanding of networking principles.
• Experience working with network software & hardware
• Strong knowledge of BGP, VRF & OSPF
• Solid understanding of Layer-2 design
• Experience in network security (Firewall and IPS)
• Beneficial to have knowledge on HPE, Aruba Switches, PaloAlto & Checkpoint.
