My Client are a rapidly growing ISP who due to an internal promotion are looking for a 3rd Line Network Engineer to work on their cutting edge multi-vendor environment. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has experience dealing with technical escalation tickets but is looking for a dynamic market leading environment to progress in. Within this role you will have the opportunity to produce a unique development plan with your mentor to ensure that you progress in the direction and at the rate that you would like with them investing in your certification pathway as well as providing a engaging social environment.

The role:

• Act as an escalation point for the 2-line support team
• Managing case queues within the SalesForce system for faults, change requests
• Regularly engage with clients and partners when fault finding and progressing tickets

The requirements:

• Technical confidence – be confident in your technical ability and open to sharing your knowledge to positively impact your team.
• Strong experience with Juniper and Cisco networking devices and firewalls
• Strong knowledge in OSPF and BGP in an ISP environment
• Strong layer 2 protocol knowledge
• Experience with Fortinet Fortigate chassis
