We are looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper/ financial controller to join a rapidly-expanding international recruitment consultancy in Oval, South West London. A market-leading, European IT recruitment firm, Franklin Fitch was established in 2011 and has enjoyed steady growth. The role will involve autonomy of the finance function within the business. It will be office-based, 16-20 hours per week depending on experience. We have listed the job requirements below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes – we’d still love to hear from you if you think you’ve got what it takes to excel in this role.

• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly/ quarterly management accounts pack
• Forecasting, budgeting and reporting to the board
• Responsibility for the financial accounting within the business – including day to day accounting and bookkeeping
• Prepare accruals for revenue and commissions – contract and permanent
• Credit control experience
• Preparation of quarterly VAT and ECSL returns
• Monthly journals – payroll (Germany & UK) and prepayments
• Inter-company charges
• Preparation of year-end accounts
• Must be experienced working within a fast-paced environment with a strong knowledge of accounting systems and Excel
• A positive, can-do attitude, able to work hard to produce high quality work

Specific qualifications required
• Bookkeeping accreditation and/or relevant qualifications e.g. AAT/ ICB
• Extensive Xero experience (ideally Xero certified)
• Experience within a SME
• Previous experience within the finance function of a recruitment or executive search firm (not essential)
